The Milton School Board is looking for a little help in determining the value of a likely building referendum. Milton School Board members Monday night called for additional public comment at an upcoming meeting to help come up with an acceptable dollar amount. An $87 million question to build a new high school failed last November. Now the board is emphasizing a need to find an amount the community could support and pass, even if not all district needs are fulfilled. A financial consultant suggested the district could further minimize the tax impact by borrowing in phases and extending the repayment timeline.
