The Rock County Sheriff’s Office fills out its ranks

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office hires two new deputies and four correctional officers.   Deputy Sheriff Jason Brown was previously a Rock County Correctional Officer and has a Master’s Degree from UW Platteville.  Deputy Kristina Bordner went to Beloit turner High School and has a Bachelor’s Degree from UW Platteville.  Among the new Correctional Officers, Navy veteran Michael Philipps, Luis Perez, and Jesus Salazar all attended Blackhawk Technical College, and Elizabeth Donovan has a Bachelor’s Degree from UW Platteville.  All the new hires have strong local ties with all but one graduating from high schools in Rock County.
