Milton police investigate school threat

Law enforcement and school officials in Milton say no threat exists to the high school after a photograph referencing a school shooting was posted in a private, online group chat.  Milton police say the district reported a potential threat about 7:00 o’clock Tuesday night.  The threat was a photograph of markings on a wall referencing the Columbine High School shooting and “shooting up” a school.  School district staff determined the photograph’s origin was graffiti on an Indiana high school from 2015.  District staff found who posted the photograph.  Police determined there’s no real threat after interviewing the student who admitted to finding the photo online and posting it to the chat.  The case is still under investigation.
