Rockford man charged with selling cocaine in Beloit

A 39-year-old Rockford, Illinois man is charged in Rock County Court with selling cocaine in Beloit.
According to the criminal complaint, Mark A. Holmon is charged with two counts of manufacturing or delivering cocaine in connection with two incidents that occurred in 2015.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says that on two occasions a confidential informant was able to purchase cocaine from Holmon during controlled buys in the City of Beloit.
If convicted of both charges Holmon faces up to 24 years in prison.
He’s due back in court on June 7th.
