a delay for the start of the Rock Aqua Jays show ski team season. The Rock Aqua Jays are facing the same problem as area farmers … too much rain. Aqua Jays Show Director Aaron Schoelzel says they’ve had to postpone this season’s opening night planned for this Sunday. He says it’s a safety issue and the water is level is high, the current too fast, and no safe landing zone. Members of Janesville’s water ski show team are said to be disappointed because they’re eager to present their “Star Wars” related theme during performances this year. The show at Traxler Park will be postponed until next Wednesday night. The team is expected to be back on the water for practice next Tuesday.
