To mark the country’s involvement in World War One a century ago, Janesville Patriotic Society President Tom Stahura says a special tribute will be paid during Memorial Day Ceremonies Monday. Stahura says the parade and ceremonies at Traxler Park will include a man dressed as a World War One soldier, and a woman in period costume. The parade begins down Milwaukee Street at 11:00 a.m. and will continue to the park. Ceremonies will being shortly after at about noon. An earlier, shorter ceremony, will take place at 8:00 a.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery.
