The City of Janesville may be looking to sweeten the pot to keep medical isotope manufacturer SHINE Medical Technologies in town.
Economic Development Director Gale Price says talks are underway for an update to the City’s tax incremental financing agreement with the company.
Price says the company is hoping to raise enough money to build their planned 57,000 square foot $100 million facility near the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport by first building a 11,500 square foot testing facility on an adjacent property.
There’s no word yet on what the updated agreement with the City could entail.
