The recent heat wave is reeking havoc on the Interstate.
Last Thursday morning I-39/90 northbound buckled near Beloit causing traffic to back up to the Illinois state line for hours.
Now crews are scrambling to repair the right lane and shoulder of southbound I-39/90 after the pavement buckled near County Road M near Milton just before 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.
The Wisconsin Department of transportation estimates that traffic will be backed up in the area until about 5:00 p.m.
