The Janesville City Council works to keep both a local business, and the neighbors within ear shot of it happy.
Council Member Paul Williams says the Alcohol License Advisory Committee heard concerns from neighbors that the live music coming from Hammy’s Roadside Bar is a nuisance.
Hammy’s was able to host live music outdoors between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. any day of the week as a condition of their liquor license.
Hearing the neighborhood’s concerns Monday night, the Janesville City Council restricted live music to every other weekend when they voted to renew the businesses liquor license.
