Local employers may be finding it difficult to fill key positions. Forward Janesville President John Beckord says the most recent state unemployment figure of 3.1% has two sides. Beckord says low unemployment may mean more disposable income for workers, but it also presents a challenge for companies in finding employees with specific skills.In light of the latest report from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Beckord calls the recovery in the local job market “remarkable”.
