A second Democrat is throwing his hat in the ring against longtime 1st District Representative Paul Ryan of Janesville. Randy Bryce describes himself as a U.S. Army Veteran, cancer survivor, union ironworker, and single father of one son. The 52-year-old steel worker from Calendonia has been active in his union and party politics. Bryce says in a news release he was political coordinator of Ironworkers Local 8 and “has allied with progressives on a range of issues”. The other Democrat in the running is David Yankovich, an Ohioan who reportedly moved to Kenosha to challenge Ryan.
