The Rock River Charter School in Janesville will soon be no more. District spokesman Patrick Gasper says the building in the city’s downtown will be renamed after Bob and Nancy Kimball. Gasper says the Kimball’s rented the building for the school for more than a decade and were great landlords. They were also big supporters of the students. Last fall they simply turned over ownership of the building to the district. A dedication ceremony is planned to rename the facility the Kimball Education Building. The ceremony is set for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at 31 West Milwaukee Street.
