Janesville police didn’t have to look far to find a suspected drunk driver. Witnesses say a police officer had the green light Thursday night about 10:00 o’clock when he was driving through the Five Points Intersection from West Milwaukee to Court Street. Officers say the driver who was headed northbound on Center Avenue did not. The squad ended up with some front end damage, and the officer was treated for minor injuries at the hospital. The other driver, 43-year-old Brian Gardner of Janesvllle, was arrested on a charge of Operating While Intoxicated Causing Injury. The State Patrol is helping with the investigation.
