Officials with the City of Janesville make it easier for mobile food vendors to operate.
Building and Development Services Manager Tom Clippert says the City first began allowing these types of businesses in 2014, and since then some changes to the ordinance have been proposed.
Clippert says some of those changes include allowing food trailers in addition to trucks as well as allowing the vendors to operate on private property without a site plan review.
The City Council approved the ordinance change in a unanimous vote Monday night.
