It’s not everyday you can see Shakespeare performed in Rock County, but it appears to be making a come-back, of sorts, thanks to a recent performance by the Milton College Preservation Society. Janesville Performing Arts Center Director Nathan Burkart says he was so attracted to its’ novelty, he decided to host performances Friday and Saturday. Burkhart admits having the performance at JPAC is a little personal. He’s a cast member. Burkhart calls this rendition of “As You LIke It’, Shakespeare “light”, because it’s a trimmed down version of one of the English playwrights better known romantic comedies.
