A 39-year-old Janesville woman, accused of multiple burglaries to support her heroin habit, enters guilty pleas in Rock County Court. Misty L. Kvistad is already in prison on previous convictions. As part of a plea agreement, Kvistad pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary while arming herself with a dangerous weapon and eight more counts of burglary. Eleven related counts of theft were dismissed but read in as part of the agreement. The agreement calls for the prosecution to argue for no more than 10 years in prison. The criminal complaint says Janesville police and Rock County deputies cataloged last summer’s thefts of jewelry, cash and other items totaling close to $67 thousand. Sentencing is set for September 27th.
