A Rock County Court case, involving a 21-year-old Janesville man accused of helping his roommate following a shooting last month in Janesville’s 4th Ward, moves closer to trial. Police Detective Dennis LeCaptain testified during a preliminary hearing Monday morning for Cody J. Odom. The criminal complain says Odom took the gun from 21-year-old Sundiata Roach after an occupied vehicle was struck several times by gunfire. Roach has already been charged with First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety. Odom faces charges of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Possession with Intent to Deliver Non-Narcotics.
