A lack in funding to train foster parents prompts the Rock County Foster Care Program to create the Fast Feet for Families 5K run and two mile walk fundraiser.
Co-Chair Shilo Titus says the event, which began six years ago typically raises about 5,000 and draws about 200 runners.
The races begin at 9:00 Saturday morning at the Rock County Health Care Center on North County Road F in Janesville.
