Janesville residents of one east side neighborhood aren’t pleased about a proposal for a bar/restaurant in the east side of the Fairview Mall.
More than a half dozen turned out to the Janesville City Council meeting Monday night to share their opposition to the project.
Residents are concerned that although the property is listed as being located off of East Milwaukee Street, it’s actually located on South Harmony Drive in a residential neighborhood. Because of the confusion, nobody raised any issues until after the item passed the Alcohol License Advisory Committee.
Because of the confusion about where Rooster’s Barrel and Wagon Works would be located, the City Council voted Monday night to send the issue back to the ALAC on September 4th.
