Investiture of Judge Fitzpatrick to the State Court of Appeals is next week

After serving as a Circuit Court Judge in Rock County for nearly 10 years, Judge Michael Fitzpatrick is ready to take a seat on a new bench.
Fitzpatrick was elected to a six-year term on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals in April.
More than 200 Judges from throughout Wisconsin endorsed Judge Fitzpatrick. He enjoyed bi-partisan support, being endorsed by both former Governors Jim Doyle and Tommy Thompson, as well as 35 District Attorneys and Sheriffs from both political parties.
Fitzpatrick’s Investiture to the State Court of Appeals will take place on August 3rd at 3:30 p.m. in the Senate Chamber at the State Capitol in Madison.
Governor Scott Walker appointed Rock County Corporation Council Jeff Kuglitsch to serve the remainder of Fitzpatrick’s term on the Rock County Circuit Court.
