The 24th Annual Street Dance, hosted by the Downtown Beloit Association (DBA), is Friday, August 4 from 5:30–11:00 pm. The night kicks off with opening band, Top Flight. Top Flight specializes in high-energy Pop, Funk, R&B, and more! Following the opening band, Rebel Reign, the headliner, will perform until 11:00 pm. This band, a Summerfest favorite, is known for wowing their fans with Rock, Pop, and Country from the 80’s through today. Several food vendors will be available on-site and a beer garden will also be available to those 21 and over. Admission is $5 per person.
Before Street Dance, from 8:00 am-2:00 pm, there will be sidewalk sales throughout Downtown Beloit. In addition, “Friday’s in the Park” will be happening from 11:30 am–1:00 pm offering a free concert at First National Bank Plaza, at the corner of State Street and Grand Avenue. Nightshift will be performing and a lunch and drink combo will be available for just $7.00 until 1:00 pm.
The sidewalk sales continue on Saturday during the Farmers’ Market from 8:00 am-1:00 pm. Beloit’s Farmers’ market is the second largest open-air market in the state, bursting at the seams with 100 vendors, offering a variety of produce, plants, honey, cheese, canned and pickled goods, and more. In addition, there is always live music, food trucks, and kids’ activities.
