Boaters on the Rock River will have to watch the signs to know how fast they can travel. Slow-no-wake conditions change from one section of the river to the next. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says the section of the river from the state line to the Beloit Rock Town Line Bridge is not under a slow-no-wake ordinance. The section from the Bridge north to the Indianford Dam is under a slow-no-wake ordinance. The section north from there though is smooth sailing.
