The Janesville City Council gets ready to make a decision on an ordinance that would require gas stations to collect payment before allowing customers to pump fuel.
Police Chief David Moore came up with the idea as a way to combat gas drive-offs.
Moore says the City Council will hold a public hearing prior to making a decision Monday night.
The City Council meets at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.
