(Gazette photo) Officials in Walworth, Racine, and Kenosha Counties work to create a long-term recovery group to respond to July flooding.
Long Long-term Recovery Groups are established to bring together partners with the common goal of helping survivors with unmet needs.
Benefits of collaboration include expanding resource capabilities, eliminating duplication of services resulting in a more efficient response, enhancing problem-solving through cross pollination of ideas, and more.
Persons or groups interested in learning more about this committee are invited to attend an informational meeting on Saturday August 26, 2017 at 10:00 AM. The meeting is being held at Burlington High School.
