The School District of Milton is pleased to announce the public release of its new application (“APP”) for smartphones as another way that students, families and other district stakeholders can stay connected to the school district. The smartphone APP was created with input from students and staff, and was developed in partnership with CESA 6 and CMS4Schools.
The new APP contains links to staff directories, school contact information, maps to each school building, and easy access to district and building calendars. Users may also view lunch menus and co-curricular event calendars. The APP has an optional push notification feature that would immediately inform users of emergency announcements, daily and weekly activity calendar updates, as well as website and social media posts.
