Seven Janesville businesses are busted selling tobacco products to minors.
The Janesville Police Department says the Street Crimes Unit worked with Rock County Youth 2 Youth to conduct compliance checks at more than 50 businesses Monday.
Citations were issued to 5 Points Gas Station, Badger Spirits, J & R Liquor, Schnucks, Mulligans Gas Station, Clark, and the Liquor Cabinet after clerks sold tobacco to underage operatives.
The other 49 businesses police checked were found to be in compliance.
