Janesville City Officials are scurrying to find a replacement for the Pick ‘n Save grocery store after learning its south side location would be closing. City Manager Mark Freitag tells Your Talk Show on WCLO his staff is exploring alternatives. Freitag says the city’s economic development director has already been busy on the phones contacting grocery store developers. Some of the ideas being bounced around could establish a Tax Incremental Financing District to include the old General Motors plant and portions of Center Avenue to encourage investment.
