Downtown Beloit celebrates Oktoberfest

Downtown Beloit Association’s 4th Annual Oktoberfest will take place Friday, September 22, in historic downtown Beloit from 5:30-11:00 pm. Hundreds of community members and visitors will fill the 300 block of State St. to enjoy several varieties of beer, live music, food, and more! Admission for the event is $5 for adults; $1 for children 4-12; free for children under 4.
The opening band, Killer Cars, will perform at 5:30 p.m. Their show is all about fun and upbeat danceable tunes that most people haven’t heard played by other cover bands. Their songs include hits from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and today. At 8:00 pm, headliner Cold Sweat & the Brew City Horns will perform. Cold Sweat is Wisconsin’s premier show band, featuring some of the area’s best musicians, multiple dynamic vocalists, and the renowned three-piece horn section, the Brew City Horns.
