The Beloit City Council will have it’s hands full Wednesday night.
City Clerk Lori Stottler says they are charged with finding a replacement for former council member Sheila Deforest.
The council will conduct two rounds of public interview before making a decision.
Those submitting applications by the Friday deadline were Rose Richard, Gerald Thomas, David Luebke, Paul Martin, Jennifer Long, Beth Jacobson, Yuri Rashkin,Jordan McIntee, and Anthony Wurl.
The Beloit City Council meets at 6:30 at the Engineering and Utilities Building on Springbrook Court.
