Janesville School District Superintendent Steve Pophal enjoys a glowing performance review. School Board President Kevin Murray described the closed-session Tuesday as an “informal” quarterly review. Murray says the board was unanimous in its satisfaction. The review comes about three months into Pophal’s tenure as superintendent. A formal review is planned for March.
