Peace March planned in Beloit

High school and college students, along with community members, plan to gather in Beloit Saturday for the second annual Freedom March. Beloit College Associate Dean of Students for Inclusive Living Cecil Youngblood says the goal is to bring the people together.  Youngblood calls this a very divisive time in American history.  The event starts with a short program at Beloit Memorial High School at 10:00 a.m., and then proceeds to Beloit College’s Flood Arena for more.  This is the second year for the event.  Last year about 200 people showed up.
