A 31-year-old Beloit man is facing charges related to a domestic abuse incident after police spent the day Wednesday waiting for him outside a residence on Saint Lawrence Avenue.Police spent 14-hours outside the residence to find their suspect, Vernon T. Lige wasn’t home. He was wanted on charges of Endangering Safety with a Firearm and Violation of a Domestic Abuse Injunction. He’s accused of pointing a gun at his girlfriend earlier in the morning. Officer’s did finally catch up with Lige about 4:00 o’clock Thursday morning at a home on Dewey Avenue.
