Janesville man pleads guilty to homicide charge

A 35-year-old Janesville man faces up to 55-years in prison after pleading guilty to first-degree reckless homicide charges in an overdose death case.  Jason A. Wedell’s defense attorney says he chose to plead guilty because he is taking responsibility.  Wedell is accused of supplying the heroin which led to the January 6th death of Matthew Brown at Sweetener Supply in Elkhorn.  Sentencing is set fo January 10th.
