Standoff suspects appear in Rock County Court

The two suspects accused of robbing a Janesville convenience store last week and then causing an hours long-standoff with police make their initial appearance in Rock County Court.
Bail was set Monday afternoon at $16,000 for 22-year-old Rache T. Boyd of Madison on charges of armed robbery, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and negligent handling of a weapon.
For 28-year-old Eric. B. Fenne of Milton bail was set at $12,000 on charges of armed robbery strangulation domestic abuse, and false imprisonment.
According to the criminal complaint, Fenne used his pregnant live-in girlfriend’s car to pick up Boyd – who his his ex girlfriend – in Madison on November 8th.
The two drove to Stop n Go where Boyd went inside and displayed a gun and left with less than $90 in cash and more than a dozen packs of cigarettes.
Investigators say Fenne and Boyd returned to the rural Milton home where the proceeded to talk about the robbery and then have sex on the couch.
Fenne’s girlfriend woke up and caught them, at which point Fenne choked her, and Boyd pointed a gun at her. She was able to escape the home and make contact with police.
Boyd is due back in court for an adjourned initial appearance on Wednesday.
Fenne’s preliminary haring is scheduled for next Wednesday.
