A Janesville sex offender is being moved. The Wisconsin Department of Community Corrections says 34-year-old Derek A. Tabbert will be moving to 339 South Locust Street Wednesday. Tabbert has convictions dating back to 2001 including First and Second degree Sexual Assault of a Child. While living at 339 S. Locust Street, conditions of Tabbert’s supervision will include no unapproved activities in the community, no contact with minors, and no drugs or alcohol. Community Corrections says the notification is not intended to increase fear, but believes an informed public is a safer public.
