Janesville police make quick work of a theft from vehicles case. Police say two men were reported looking into vehicles in the area of Joliet Street and South River Road about 2:00 o’clock Tuesday morning. Officers say they caught up with 37-year-old Daniel E. Nightingale who was walking in the area. He’s accused of having some property taken from a number of vehicles in the area. Another suspect is still on the loose. Police say they found some 19-unlocked vehicles that had been rummaged through.
