A 20-year-old Beloit woman, suspected of firing shots inside the Holiday Inn Express in Janesville, is captured in South Beloit.  The Janesville Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit staked out a residence on Hackett Street in Beloit Sunday in hopes of capturing Latoya L.N. Hill.  Police spotted Hill in a vehicle leaving the residence around 12:20 p.m. Sunday and stopped the vehicle on Shirland Avenue, just over the border in Illinois.  Officers say the arrest occurred without incident.  South Beloit police took Hill to the Winnebago County Jail, where she will be held pending extradition to Rock County.  Hill is suspected of robbing a Canadian man Tuesday at the hotel on Wellington Drive.  Police suggest the man had checked in and contacted Hill through a “meet me” app, thinking he was setting up a “prostitution arrangement,”.  Police say at some point, an argument erupted, and Hill fired twice, missing the man.  Hill was wanted on charges of armed robbery and first-degree attempted homicide.
