(Gazette photo) Jansville firefighters are looking into the cause of a residential fire in the 400 block of North Pearl Street. Firefighters responded just before 3:00 o’clock Tuesday afternoon to find smoke billowing from the two-story home. A mother and infant did escape and no injuries were reported. The home is damaged on both stories, and is uninhabitable.
