A major Janesville based retail chain is helping both police and kids this Christmas. Blain’s Farm and Fleet Public Relations Coordinator Dormie Roberts says the store is donating 25, $200 gift cards locally to help with Shop-with-a-Cop. Janesville Police Sergeant Aaron Ellis says the program has a genuine impact. Local law enforcement officers will be escorting children Wednesday afternoon at Blain’s, and Thursday at Walmart. This is the programs seventh year in Janesville.
