As part of the I-39/90 Expansion Project, crews are removing and replacing the old northbound Interstate bridge over Milwaukee Street in Janesville. For the safety of the traveling public and construction crews, Milwaukee Street will be closed under the Interstate from 7 a.m. Monday (Jan. 8th, 2018) until late Friday (Jan. 11, 2018). Motorists are required to use alternate local routes during the four-day closure.
Motorists are reminded to be alert for crews and equipment in the area, and allow extra time to safely reach their destination. The work operations and road closure is weather dependent and subject to change.
