The Rock County Board will be losing at least two members in the spring. Rock County Board members Eva Arnold of District 6 and Sandra Kraft of District 3 have filed paperwork indicating they will not seek re-election. Arnold’s district encompasses areas including part of the town of Beloit, city of Beloit, and the town of Turtle. Kraft serves areas including the town of Fulton and city of Edgerton. Those interested in running for county board must turn in the required paperwork by 5 p.m. Tuesday. All 29 county board seats will be up for grabs in the April 3 election. If necessary, a primary will be held Feb. 20.
