Six people vie for three open seats on the Janesville City Council.
City Clerk Dave Godek says the seats up for election in April are held by incumbents Jens Jorgensen, Rich Gruber, and Paul Williams.
The deadline to file nomination papers was Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.
Those who turned in their nomination papers and qualified for ballot status include the three incumbents as well as new comers Jason Davis, Harry Paulson, and Jeff Navarro.
