SSM Health, which includes hospitals in Madison, Baraboo, and Janesville, now owns the Monroe Clinic and Agnesian Health Care hospitals in Fond du Lac, Ripon, and Waupun. SSM Health Regional President Damond Boatwright considers the “transfer of sponsorship” good for both the Sisters of Saint Agnes and SSM Health. The agreement adds four-hospitals, eight post-acute facilities, and dozens of outpatient care sites to S-S-M Health’s network in South Central Wisconsin.
