Leaders of a local community are starting the year with a lot of optimism about the future. Town of Beloit Administrator Ian Haas points to several large economic developments including construction of an Alliant Energy production facility, and discussions for possible new businesses including an assisted living facility and multi-million dollar agricultural industry operation. Haas says he’s also excited about the expectation of close to 400 houses being built over the next ten-years.
