Getting the public involved in the design process for a new Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin facility may be important for more than just useful ideas. Society Director Brett Frazier says, with the need to raise $4.5 million, everyone is invited to help. The Humane Society is hosting a public listening session at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, at its current facility on Arch Street in Janesville to offer ideas for the 20-thousand square foot facility planned on land already acquired on Prairie Avenue between Janesville and Beloit.
