A Green County man is sentenced to six years in federal prison on a drug conviction.
36-year-old Christopher Stevens of Albany plead guilty in November of last year to a charge of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Stevens is one of 11 individuals charged in federal indictments for their roles in a large methamphetamine distribution conspiracy which responsible for shipping numerous pounds of meth from California to Wisconsin.
During sentencing on Thursday, U.S. District Judge William Conley described Stevens as having played a smaller role as a local distributor.
