Janesville Police put a pair of metal bracelets on what they call a “porch pirate.”
According to a news release, officers took a report from a resident on January 16th who had a package stolen off of his doorstep. The victim was able to provide officers with video of the suspect.
A few days later an alert officer noticed the suspect walking down the street in Janesville wearing the same clothes from the theft.
32-year-old Jamie Bourdreau of Janesville was taken into custody on suspicion of theft, criminal trespass, and a probation violation.
