Monroe police, along with the Green County Sheriff’s Office, State Line Narcotics Team Task Force, and State Division of Investigation break-up a suspected methamphetamine lab. Authorities say a search warrant late Monday morning at an apartment in the 300 block of Third Street on Monroe’s west side netted a small amount of suspected meth and equipment and supplies for its’ manufacture. 18-year-old Trevor A. Smith was arrested on charges including manufacturing meth and maintaining a drug trafficking place. 20-year-old Austin M. Smith was also arrested on charges including manufacturing meth and maintaining a drug trafficking place. Both are from Monroe.
