Much of the snow piled up in downtown Janesville could disappear Monday night. The city originally had scheduled downtown snow removal for Sunday night, but the work was postponed because of a larger-than-anticipated snowfall Saturday and Sunday. Downtown snow removal will begin at about 10:00 p.m. Monday and last until early Tuesday morning. Residents should refrain from parking in on-street stalls in the downtown area during removal. Business owners are encouraged to remove snow and ice from their sidewalks before removal process begins.
