The Janesville Police Department is cutting back hours at the service window. Records Supervisor Tom Wolfram says it’s a matter of budget and resources. Wolfram says preparing reports for court each day takes a priority. Customer service at the lobby window will be reduced by ten-hours a week. The new service hours will be the same as city hall, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. The new hours begin February 19.
